In line with our mission, KIS in Seremban was founded in 2022 by a team of experienced education professionals with a deep passion for the field. Our goal is to make top-quality education accessible to as many children as possible, unlocking their unique potential. This is why we are dedicated to providing affordable, no-frills education.

Our educational approach goes beyond academics, offering a diverse range of 16 extracurricular activities. These activities include sports, community service, music, the arts, outdoor education, and more, ensuring that our students receive a holistic and enjoyable education. We also believe that school education alone isn’t enough to shape well-rounded individuals. Therefore, we actively engage with parents through open communication and various initiatives, creating a bridge to success where every child can shine brightly and look forward to a promising future.

Dr Ng Kuan Choong

Dr Ng Kuan Chong graduated from Mangalore Medical College in 1993 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. Following his graduation, he returned to Malaysia to kickstart his medical career, beginning as a houseman in Seremban. In 1998, Dr Ng embarked on his journey as a private practitioner, establishing Klinik Ng dan Surgeri in Kajang. As a young and ambitious medical professional, he held a keen interest in various medical disciplines, including medical aesthetics. Subsequently, he established another medical clinic in Bangsar, focusing on medical aesthetic practice.

Beyond his medical pursuits, Dr Ng harbours a deep passion for education. In 2014, he acquired a minority shareholding in an international school where his son was enrolled. Over the years, this institution flourished, eventually expanding to a new campus. Dr Ng opted to divest his investment when the school’s founders expressed interest in repurchasing his shareholding. His experience in managing various businesses has honed his adeptness at confronting diverse entrepreneurial challenges. In 2019, he collaborated with several partners to establish KIS.

Mr Chung Cheng Yeat

Deputy Chief Executive Officer

Mr Chung Cheng Yeat started his career as a project engineer at Tampin Premix and Construction Sdn. Bhd. His main role was to coordinate, manage, and supervise the overall construction project of the company. During his tenure, he gained project management experience and decided to join Pakatan Perunding Yusoff Sdn. Bhd. in 1989 to further enhance his experience. He was tasked with being involved in the Ayer Hitam to Machap Toll Express Way project as well.

In 1990, Mr Chung joined Tampin Team Sdn. Bhd. The positive career move turned out to be twenty years of a long-lasting, successful career for him until today. Mr Chung joined the company as an engineer and was subsequently promoted to the top management level as a company director. The company has over the years gone into different areas of business, sectors, and industries. Mr Chung has been one of the major contributors to the company’s success in these diversified business portfolios.

Dr Chung Cheng Chih is a medical doctor with over 35 years of experience. He graduated from the University of Malaya in 1987 with an M.B.B.S. degree. He began his career as a houseman at Seremban General Hospital and continued as a medical officer in Kuantan, and later in Kuala Lipis. In 1992, Dr Chung started his private clinic practice in Kuala Lipis under the name Klinik Chung.

In addition to general practice, he has also been a registered occupational health doctor with the Department of Safety and Health under the Ministry of Human Resources since 2003. Dr Chung has a special interest in medical ultrasonography and was certified in Primary Care ultrasonography by the Academy of Family Physicians of Malaysia in 2002.

Dr Chung has always been passionate about education and is a strong supporter of local educational institutions. This motivation led him to co-establish KIS with a few partners in 2019.

Marketing Director

Ms Khirtham embarked on her career as an Education Consultant at INTI International University in 2015. Her primary role involved guiding students in choosing courses and exploring career paths. Remarkably, she recruited 75 students within three months and was honoured with the “Best Education Counselor” award in 2017 for recruiting 250 students. Later, she excelled in managing sales teams and interns, achieving top sales at the Nilai campus.

During her tenure at TAFE College Seremban, she introduced digital marketing, resulting in a substantial 35% and 40% increase in student enrollment in 2018 and 2019. Upon joining INTI International University’s Selangor branch, she further boosted student enrollment by spearheading recruitment for various school types. With her extensive experience, Ms Khirtham has now taken the lead in the marketing department at KIS.

With 26 years of experience, Mr Liao You Cheng’s dedication to education and passion for fostering innovation position him as an outstanding leader in the field. As the founder of Saint International School, he has successfully translated his vision into a thriving institution that prioritizes not only knowledge but also personal growth and creativity. Furthermore, his affiliation with the John Maxwell Team, where he serves as a certified coach, trainer, and speaker, underscores his commitment to personal and professional development.

One of Mr Liao’s key strengths lies in his innovative and interactive approach to learning systems. He fully understands the evolving landscape of education and remains at the forefront of adopting the latest technologies and methodologies. His unique ability to implement these forward-thinking systems has had a significant impact on students and educators, creating a dynamic learning environment that keeps learners engaged and motivated.

Dr Jeyarajah Kandiah

Vice Principal

Dr Jeya is a lifelong academic with four decades of experience in public schools. Following his retirement, he founded two international schools, where he assumed the role of Principal. His extensive background spans teaching, curriculum development, teacher training, research, lecturing, and the supervision of postgraduate students. He also served on the Board of Academics within the Ministry of Education. In addition to his contributions to academic administration, Dr Jeya also teaches English for IGCSE.

Madam Wong Mei Peng

Vice Principal (Operations)

Madam Wong brings an impressive 35 years of dedicated service in government schools to her role. She possesses extensive experience in various educational aspects, including seven years in GPK Academic and GPK Discipline, along with another ten years in GPK Co-Curriculum. Madam Wong has also held the position of Key Personnel for Bahasa Malaysia under JPNS for six years. Additionally, she spent one year part-time with INT Aminuddin Baki, focusing on environmental education. Throughout her educational journey, she taught Bahasa Malaysia, English, and PE.

She has held the position of headmistress in three different schools, including eight years in a Mission School (Methodist), three years in another Mission School (St. Paul Institute), with two years as a Guru Besar Cemerlang. Furthermore, she has contributed her expertise to the private school sector, accumulating seven years of valuable experience.
