The student will have to sit for IGCSE examination at the end of Year 11. After that, they will enter the A level or other pre-university programme. We will prepare the student for the IGCSE examination. During Year 11, we make sure that the student will focus on the examination so that they are well-prepared for it.

English is an important language subject which the student needs to learn in the IGCSE curriculum.

Aims:

  • Improve listening, reading, speaking and writing skills.
  • Have a good command in English.
  • Use of intermediate and advanced vocabulary and sentence’s structure.

Mathematics

Mathematics is the science that deals with the logic of shape, quantity and arrangement.

Aims:

  • Have a good understanding in the mathematical reasoning.
  • Able to solve advanced mathematical problems.
  • Critical reasoning and thinking.
  • Able to apply the mathematical problem in daily life.

Science

Science is a systematic enterprise that builds and organises knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe.

  • Solving problem by using scientific method.
  • Able to explain how the natural world works.
  • Learn how to use science process skills.
  • Study the natural world through observation and scientific reasoning.

Information Technology

This is the study or use of systems (especially computers and telecommunications) for storing, retrieving, and sending information.

Aims:

  • Learn the basic component of the computer system.
  • Solving basic computer problem.
  • Learn how to use basic computer application or programme.

History

It is the study of past events, particularly in human affairs.

Aims:

  • How the history of countries and the world history.
  • Able to remember the importance historical events.
  • Learn from the historical events.

Geography

The study of the physical features of the earth and its atmosphere, and of human activity as it affects and is affected by these, including the distribution of populations and resources and political and economic activities.

Aims:

  • To understand how it play a vital role in the world.
  • The understanding of the physical world and the population.
  • Use of geography knowledge in daily life.
  • Aware of the development of the world and knowing the effect of it.
  • The effect of physical world to the evolution of the population.
