All three of my children studied at St. John's International School and graduated with very good IGCSE results. I particularly remember bringing my youngest son, Siew Ming Fung, to meet you when he was only 10 years old. Despite his young age, you were able to recognise his potential and gave him the opportunity to join Year 7 after completing the entrance assessment.
With the opportunity and support given to him, Ming Fung went on to sit for his IGCSE examinations at just 14 years old, becoming one of the youngest students in the school's history to do so. In 2022, he achieved an outstanding 10 As in IGCSE, a remarkable achievement and a proud record for our family.
My other two children, Siew Ming Hui and Siew Tung Ern, were also students of St. John's. Today, one has pursued a career in engineering, while the other has completed an MSc in Marketing and a BSc in Economics.
As a parent, I have personally witnessed the positive impact of your leadership and your ability to recognise the potential in students. The strong students and academic results achieved during your leadership are a reflection of your commitment to education.
